Meet Clay Malson
Owner
Clay Malson is the third-generation owner of Pipeline Skid Service, a family-owned business that has been serving pipeline, infrastructure, and industrial customers nationwide since 1953. After graduating from Texas A&M in 2007, he spent his first seven years in consulting and oil and gas trading.
In 2014, he joined his dad, Bob, at Pipeline Skid Service. He became Vice President of Sales in 2017 and took over ownership of the company in 2024. Clay is proud to carry on the family business started by his grandfather, Gail Malson, while continuing to build on the relationships and reputation that have been developed over more than 70 years.
Outside of work, Clay enjoys spending time with his wife, Stacey, and their three children.
